History
1925 January : Kuroda Gauge Manufacturing Co., Ltd. founded by Saburo Kuroda for manufacture and sale of all types of gauges.
1935 March : Production and sale of block gauges.
1935 November : Reorganized into a limited partnership. (Capitalized at \200,000)
1943 January : Reorganized into a joint stock company. (Capitalized at \980,000)
1946 May : Production of gauges resumes at plants in Chiba and Nagano following the end of the Pacific War.
1946 September : Production and sale of press tools for precision press.
1949 April : he present company is established through investment in kind from the old company. (Capitalized at \4.6 million)
1953 April : Production and sale of surface grinders.
1955 November : Approval obtained for our plant and for placing the JIS mark on our thread gauges.
1957 April : Approval obtained from the American Petroleum Institutes for using its official mark on reference master gauge for API Std. 5A and Std. 5L thread.
1959 January : Production and sale of boring heads.
1959 July : Production and sale of electro-hydraulic pulse motors.

Agreement reached with Scully-Jones (now Bendix Corporation (USA)) for technical tieup covering tooling systems.

1965 June : Firm name changed from Kuroda Gauge Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to Kuroda Precision Industries, Ltd.

1970 July : Agreement with Allen Gauge & Tool Company (USA) reached for sales tieup covering thread gauges and thread measuring instruments.

1972 April : Agreement with Hydrovane Compressor Company (U.K.) reached for sales tieup covering hydrovane compressors.
1973 May : Establishment of Kuroda-Watts Co., Ltd. as a joint venture with Watts Fluidair Inc. (USA).

1986 February : Establishment of a liaison office in Chicago (USA) as an overseas operation point.
1987 January : Tieup reached with MannesmannroNhren-Werke GmbH (West Germany) for manufacture and sale of taper screw for oil well pipe.
1987 May : Production and sale of the gSuper Polishing Machine,h an ultra-precision mirror surface processor.
1987 September : Production and sale of the gUNI-WIREh systems for wire saving.
1989 April : Production and sale of rolled ball screws.
1991 July : Production and sale of gNanometro,h a surface configuration measuring devices.

1992 November : Production and sale of gFMT Tooling,h face and taper contact tooling, begins after being developed jointly with Mori Seiki Co., Ltd.

1993 December : Agreement with Kennametal (USA) reached for technical tieup covering production and sale of gKM Tooling,h a quick change tooling system.

1998 August : Production and sale of the Adex Valve plastic manifold.
1998 December : Production and sale of the gHadmer 200s,h a household air massage unit.

1999 May : Business and capital tieup with Parker Hannifin Corporation (USA).

2000 March : Construction of the 7th factory at the Asahi Plant.
2001 March : Construction of the 6th factory (PE factory) at the Nagano Plant.
2001 April : Clearance and dissolution of the consolidated subsidiary, Kuroda Machine Tool Asia.
2001 April : Construction of a new factory at the Futtsu Plant for production of ball screws.
2001 November : Establishment of Kuroda Precision Industries Pinghu Co., Ltd. as a joint venture in Pinghu City, Zhejiang, China with Kawasho Corporation and Jiangsu Kawaden Steel Products Co., Ltd. (Now a consolidated subsidiary.)
2002 April : The FA operations department is divided into the pneumatic equipment operations department and the drive systems operations department.
2003 May : Production and sale of the PWAP group of pneumatic equipment products.
2003 October : Separation of Pneumatic components business and establishment of "Kuroda Pneumatics Ltd".
2005 November : Production and sale of motor core for Hybrid Vehicle.
